If you rent your home, a clear record can help you explain your concerns to a property manager, local agency, or tenant attorney. A more detailed assessment may include additional room samples or moisture measurements, as agreed for your property. We’ll explain the scope and price before you choose additional services.

Your report can document the observations and results within that scope. It may support a repair request or a discussion about your rental agreement. The strength and use of that documentation depend on the facts, methods, and requirements of the person or agency reviewing it.

California’s dampness and visible-mold language

California Health and Safety Code §17920.3 includes dampness in habitable rooms and specified visible mold conditions among conditions that can make a building legally substandard when the statute’s endangerment standard is met. The visible-mold provision calls for a health officer or code enforcement officer’s determination and excludes certain minor growth on surfaces that normally accumulate moisture during proper use.

Our private assessment documents findings. It is not a government code-enforcement determination or a certificate of compliance with every rental-housing standard.

Can a report help with a lease?

It may help document the conditions relevant to a conversation about repairs or a lease release. A test result does not automatically end a lease, establish liability, or guarantee reimbursement.

California Civil Code §1942 provides remedies in certain circumstances involving conditions that make premises untenantable, notice to the landlord, and a reasonable opportunity to address them. Conditions caused by specified tenant violations are treated differently. Section 1941.7 also addresses notice for mold-related repair obligations.

A California tenant attorney or legal-aid organization can evaluate your lease, the notice history, local rules, and available options before you change rent payments or move out. Ventura Mold provides assessment information, not legal advice or representation.

What testing can tell you

CDPH explains that mold measurements do not establish whether a home presents a health problem and that there are no recommended unhealthy spore-count levels. When dampness or mold is already visible or apparent by odor, sampling is not a prerequisite to addressing the condition.

Who we are

Ventura Mold is operated by Florra LLC. This policy explains information handled through this website and its appointment tools. It also describes the proposed handling of information you provide when arranging an assessment.

Information and its purpose

• Website visits. Hosting and security services may process your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps, and related request logs to deliver and protect the site.
• Appointments and questions. When you use the visit request form, it opens an email draft with your name, phone number, and optional callback time. Your request stays in your email draft until you choose Send; then it goes to Florra LLC. Your email provider may process that message. When booking is enabled, scheduling may also use your service address and preferred appointment to arrange and communicate about your visit.
• Assessment records. If you engage us, the agreed assessment may produce site observations, property photographs, sample identifiers, laboratory findings, and a report. Those records support the service you request.
• Payments. This preview does not collect payments or card details. Any future payment processor will be identified before you use it and in an updated policy.

Please share only what is relevant to the property and the appointment. Please leave medical histories, Social Security numbers, and other sensitive personal details out of booking notes.

Who may receive information

Information needed to deliver your request may be handled by our hosting, scheduling, communications, and laboratory providers. Access should be limited to the work each provider performs. For example, scheduling requires appointment details; a laboratory needs the sample and associated collection information.

When you ask us to send a report to another person, we use the recipient and scope you authorize. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, or protect legal rights. We do not publish customer reports or use customer property photographs in marketing merely because an assessment was booked.

Hosting, Calendly, and cookies

The production website uses Vercel hosting. Read Vercel’s privacy notice for its information practices.

Calendly is the intended scheduling provider. Its script and calendar load only after you choose to open appointment times. At that point, your browser connects to Calendly, which may process device and appointment information and use cookies or similar storage. Its own preferences and notices apply: Calendly privacy notice. You can also open its calendar separately.

This website’s own code uses no advertising pixels, session replay, marketing analytics, browser cookies, or persistent local storage. Fonts and films are served with the site. The estimate tool keeps selections only in the current page; “Copy estimate” copies your selection to your clipboard when you ask.

Independent providers may have their own cookie or cross-site collection practices. Their policies describe those practices; this policy does not override them.

Tracking preferences

The site itself does not track visitors across other websites or send their information to advertising networks. It therefore does not change that behavior in response to a browser “Do Not Track” signal or Global Privacy Control. This is not a claim that every external service responds identically. Review Calendly’s choices before loading its calendar, and use your browser’s privacy controls.

The current website implementation has no sale or advertising-sharing mechanism. Any future advertising, analytics, or data-sharing changes require a policy update and any choices required by applicable law before activation.

Retention and security

Our intended retention standard is to keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the requested service, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it when appropriate. The retention schedule for customer reports, photographs, messages, and provider records must be finalized before live intake begins.

Access controls and appropriate safeguards should protect customer records. No website or transmission method can offer absolute security. Please use the designated service channels for your assessment information.

Questions, corrections, and requests

You may contact Florra LLC to ask about your information or request access, correction, or deletion. We may need enough information to verify that the request concerns you. Some records may need to be kept to fulfill an active service or legal obligation.

California privacy rights depend on the law that applies to the business and information involved. This draft does not assert that Florra LLC meets the California Consumer Privacy Act’s coverage thresholds. Where that law applies, requests and choices will be handled under it. See the California Privacy Protection Agency’s guidance.

Children and future features

The website is intended for adults arranging property services, not for children under 13. It does not request children’s information. This version has no AI receptionist, voice recording, SMS marketing, customer accounts, or newsletter signup. Those features require their own notices and any applicable consent before activation.

Updates

When this policy becomes effective, its effective date will appear above. Material changes will be explained on this page and, when required, communicated before the new use begins. This preview remains a draft until its operating practices and provider settings are confirmed.

Independent assessment

Ventura Mold is operated by Florra LLC and provides mold assessment and sampling services. Remediation, repairs, medical care, legal advice, government inspections, and expert testimony are outside the advertised visit. Any additional professional service would need its own confirmed scope.

Your deposit and additional testing

The $350 assessment deposit covers the visit and walkthrough, one outdoor comparison air sample, laboratory analysis of that sample, and a written report. An outdoor sample provides a comparison point; it does not sample the rooms inside your home.

Indoor air samples are $350 each. Other optional services and their prices appear on Services. Additional tests are selected after discussing your questions and their purpose. A written scope and total should be provided before you authorize additional work.

This preview does not accept payment. Reservation, cancellation, rescheduling, refund, and credit terms will be presented before a payment is requested. You will have an opportunity to review those terms before reserving.

Scope and interpretation

Observations and samples describe the accessible locations, methods, and conditions at the time of assessment. Results cannot describe every concealed space or predict future conditions. A laboratory result is one part of an assessment, not a guarantee that a property is free of mold or suitable for every person.

Test results do not diagnose a condition, establish the cause of symptoms, or define a medical exposure limit. If you have health concerns, talk with your doctor. CDPH explains the limits of mold testing.

Rental and legal questions

Our reports may help you communicate documented findings. They do not provide a state approval, a housing-compliance certification, an automatic lease release, or a guaranteed court or insurance outcome. See California renter information for the relevant state language and official sources.

Website films and people

The homepage films are AI-generated illustrations. The people, homes, equipment, and assessment scenes are not recordings of actual Ventura Mold staff, customers, or completed visits. They are not testimonials, demonstrations of a specific testing protocol, or proof of an outcome.

Choosing a next step

Any service recommendation should follow the findings and your questions. You are free to choose your own repair or remediation provider. This website does not represent the purchase of additional testing as a requirement for asserting renter rights.

This website is provided by Florra LLC under the Ventura Mold brand to explain assessment services and help visitors arrange a visit. General information on the site is not a personalized assessment, medical opinion, legal opinion, or government determination.

You may read and share links to the site for personal information. Please do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, misrepresent another person, or submit information you are not authorized to share.

Appointments and service agreements

An assessment is governed by the service scope and terms provided for that appointment. Website information alone does not create an appointment, guarantee availability, authorize entry into a property, or expand the agreed scope.

Before a paid reservation, the applicable total, included services, payment terms, and cancellation rules should be clearly provided. This preview has no live checkout. See Service disclosures for what the displayed deposit includes.

Estimates

The Services calculator totals the displayed base visit and selected options. It is a planning tool. Additional work requires agreement on scope and price. A future mandatory fee must be included in the advertised price where California law requires it; it cannot simply be added at checkout.

External services and resources

Calendly and linked third-party websites operate under their own terms and privacy notices. Official resources are linked for context; their inclusion does not imply that a government agency endorses Ventura Mold. External content and availability may change.

Accuracy and changes

We aim to keep service information understandable and current. Please confirm property-specific questions and your agreed service scope before the visit. New versions of these website terms will show an updated date. Changes do not retroactively alter an already agreed service contract.

These website terms do not waive consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived. This page does not impose arbitration, a class-action waiver, or a liability cap. Service-specific terms require a separate agreement.

The homepage film is silent. You can pause or replay it, and visitors whose devices request reduced motion receive a still image instead of automatic playback. Essential service information is available as text.
